Fernald

Location: Easily accessible from the Rail Trail and Route 109.

Features: 3.5  miles of easy and intermediate singletrack trails that can be used year-round.

Description: Wiley Brook River runs through these machine-built trails, which features sandy soil. Fernald has a small footprint with lots of ‘fast and flowy’ turns that are fun to ride.

Open:

• Winter - Groomed for fat biking, (Snowshoeing and XC Skiing are permitted.)
• Fall - Mountain biking, walking, trail running, dog walking, bird watching, orienteering.
• Summer - Mountain biking, walking, trail running, dog walking, bird watching, orienteering.
• Spring - Mountain biking, walking, trail running, dog walking, bird watching, orienteering.
